My name is Miriam Delman HaLevi. I teach art to children from Kindergarten to high school. My strength as an art teacher lies in my belief in the ideas and creativity of my students.
My goal as an art teacher is to provide my students with a positive experience with art, and a foundation for understanding and appreciating art, so that may integrate it into their lives as they see fit. The creativity that we utilize to make art, and that is developed through its creation is a vital tool for problem solving and provides a different perspective for understanding the world. I feel all students can greatly benefit from studying art and that it will improve their performance in other disciplines.
